How?! I've been busy lately (what with the business of failing January exams and forcing myself to read through insane websites for my RE coursework and sleeping and the like) but I need to start posting again! And maybe start a webcomic... but unfortunately I know myself too well to actually believe I'll start a webcomic. T.T

I have got a couple of drawings that I can ink and submit. Might just do that...
I feel indebted to you all! Will try and get something up by this weekend.

Ma quotient o' good grades jus' wen' up, babeh!
My science teachers wanted my science papers remarked.
And the remarking was successful! I went from an A to an A*!
And as it was double award science, that means I actually have 2 more A*s!! So I am mucho happy.
My modified grades:
Double science: A* & A* (:'D)
French: A*
Drama: A*
Geog, 3D Art, Maths, Eng Lang & Lit: As!

Yes, it's nowhere near the grades some of my friends got, but it be drawing closer, working in the shadows to creep up behind them... Mwahaha.
Of course, this journal entry will alert those people to my good fortune.

I didn't think this through...

For some reason, lately, poetry-like lines have been creeping up on me, and I've written a few down. They aren't any good, as I appear unable to structure a poem, but I made up a limerick to explain this alllllll away:

There was a young girl on DA
Who one day said to herself, "Hey,
I am no poet,
And boy do I know it,
But I'll post these ones up anyway."

My life is poetry
My life is fiction
I have no authority
No jurisdiction

What do you do
Sitting serenely and
Watching the screen
With the people screaming
Suffering, dying?

You just tell yourself
It isn't really happening

If you saw someone die
Would you sit and eat popcorn?

They're probably a bit 'balloon in June', but I just wanted to see what the reaction to them was. I've only inflicted three of these atrocities upon you. Well, four if you count the limerick, but don't judge me based on that, please! ;D

These are also to pacify (or distract?) you for now as I don't think I'll be getting any art done any time soon. (Well, either pacify, distract or scare off, you decide!) I'm afraid there is just too much going on in my life at the moment. So I am sorry. But when I go through an art phase again, I'll probably get several done at once, so isn't that worth waiting for...?

Not that the title of this journal post has ANYTHING to do with ANYTHING that follows it WHATSOEVER, but hey.

1. I am back from camping. Fun, but cold and damp at night. And too much uphill walking for my liking. But I DID enjoy it, and I got a creepy one-legged Chinese demon puppet from a carboot sale. So that = <3

2. I'm sorry about recent lack of artwork, I'm working on it. I just keep starting new stuff all the time even though I shouldn't, etc. etc...

3. Cannot think of anything for 3...

4. PIXEL IDS!!!! How the heck do people do those things!? I know it's conformist, and not exactly mindblowing, but it's like pokémon in that even though every Tom, Dick and Harry has one, they're cool and I want one too. :S

5. College starts in, like, a week and two days! (Scratch that; LITERALLY a week and two days...) Hopefully 'twill be good, but would v. much enjoy having a Worst Enemy or two to keep life interesting. Yes, really. >

6. Got GCSE results a few days ago. Was actually disappointed (as I thought I'd do better than I did in science etc) but technically know this is silly as I got 2 A*s! Ist gut, ja? My friends all did well anyway.

7. Am procrastinating, because I know I smell and need a shower (camping = not showering) but am comfy in this position. ):

9. Changed English Language for French last-minute because I love French, but now worrying that the workload will be too much. So, finalised option choices are Biology, Chemistry, Physics, French and RE. Yes, 5, so will have to drop one at some point. Prime candidates for this are Physics and French, as need Biology and Chemistry to get into Zoology or Vet. Medicine at University, and RE STAYS as my dropout subject. Because the bible studies teacher is away doing something-or-other, the bible studies half of the course is being replaced by Ethics, which = much love.

11. The webcomic idea is, I think, officially history. I was going to do one, but my will broke when I couldn't actually upload them to the internet. If I had people there expecting more, I might have continued. But, 'twas not to be. C'est dommage.

12. But, in other news, have found a new webcomic, called Honeydew Syndrome, to replace the chasm that So Common So Cheap left when Ziggy (who writes/draws it) failed to put the site back up (even though he keeps saying on his DA that he's going to) and I started craving emos. Big time. By that, though, I really mean the fashion sense, as both of the main characters of these webcomics are just kind of bitchy, closeted gays. XD And I simply ADORE it, dahling!

13. I also got a fake quill pen from Castleton. It's not really a quill pen, it's a dyed purple feather with a biro rammed up it. It doesn't work very well, but I love it anyways.
